How do I access my RDP email?

Every student has a Red Deer Polytechnic email account. There are two ways to access your email:

Access email through MyRDP

A link to your RDP email can be found under the Academic Quick Links card in MyRDP.
For Apprenticeship students, this link can be found under the Apprentice Quick Links card.

Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is in use at Red Deer Polytechnic. If you're prompted to authenticate via MFA, do so using the Microsoft Authenticator app.

Access email through Office.com

Note: If you choose, you may also wish to install the desktop version or download the Microsoft Office app to have easy access to your RDP email on your phone and computer.

Visit the Office 365 login page and select Sign in.
Log in with your RDP email address and password.
Select Outlook from the list of apps (located along the left-hand side).

If you have further questions about your Red Deer Polytechnic email, visit IT Services' portal and search for 'email.' If you don't find the information you need, log in with your RDP email address and password to submit a support ticket.
