Membership Privileges: Getting Materials from Other Libraries

If RDP Library doesn't have the items you need, you can have items delivered to RDP Library for your use, for free, through a NEOS Hold or Interlibrary Loan request.

Membership Privileges: Other Libraries

Your RDP Library membership allows you to visit, and in some cases borrow materials, from other Alberta libraries.

Other NEOS Libraries

RDP Library is a member of NEOS Libraries. Visit other NEOS libraries for free.

If you wish to borrow items directly from another NEOS library, simply use your iCard at that other library. This service is free, and the items you've borrowed can be returned to RDP Library or any other NEOS Library.

Red Deer Public Library

Visit any Red Deer Public Library (RDPL) branch for free.

If you wish to borrow items directly from RDPL, you'll need an RDPL membership, which is free for City of Red Deer residents. Find out more

Other Alberta Libraries

Visit any library in Alberta for free.

Most libraries in Alberta are members of The Alberta Library (TAL), ME Libraries, or both. If you wish to borrow items directly from a library which is not a NEOS member library nor a branch of Red Deer Public Library, talk to RDP Library staff, or staff at the other library you wish to use, about the best way to obtain membership privileges.
