A book I've borrowed has been recalled. What does that mean?

Answer

All Library materials which have been borrowed may be requested by another Library user, whether that user is at Red Deer Polytechnic or another NEOS Library. When this happens a recall will be issued.

Your borrowed materials will not be recalled unless you've had the item for at least two weeks.

When an item you have borrowed has been recalled, you'll receive an email (to your RDP email address) notifying you that another user is waiting for the item and giving you the new due date for the item. You will have seven days to return the item.

If you don't return the item by the new due date, late fines will begin to accrue as of that date, at the rate of $1.00/item/day.
