If RDP doesn’t have the book or article I need, how do I get it? (Interlibrary Loan and NEOS Hold)

RDP Library can bring in items from other libraries for you, for free.

Interlibrary Loan

Place an Interlibrary Loan Request if you're not sure which library owns the item, or if you know the item is owned by a Library that is not part of NEOS. Use your iCard barcode and NEOS PIN to make a request. You'll receive an email (to your RDP email address) when your hold is ready for pick-up at the Red Deer Polytechnic Library Desk.

NEOS Hold

For items owned by a NEOS Library, the quickest way to get them is by placing a NEOS Hold, using your iCard barcode and NEOS PIN. You'll receive an email (to your RDP email address) when your hold is ready for pick-up at the Red Deer Polytechnic Library Desk.
