How will Interlibrary Loan (ILL) change as RDP Library moves to a new platform?

Answer

On December 2, 2024, the provision of Interlibrary Loan (ILL) services will transition from NEOS to RDP Library.

Users will notice these changes:

  • The ILL Request form will look different.
  • It may take longer for ILL requests to arrive at RDP Library.
  • ILL will no longer be available to Community members, who instead will need to work with their local public library to obtain interlibrary loans.

ILL will continue to be a free service for RDP students, faculty, and staff.

The changes to ILL are due to Red Deer Polytechnic Library moving to a new platform.
