How will the Library Catalogue change as RDP Library moves to a new platform?

Answer

Red Deer Polytechnic Library is moving to a new platform on May 1, 2025.

As a result, there will be changes to the Library Catalogue.

OneSearch Catalogue

Our main library catalogue, OneSearch, will be replaced by a new catalogue on May 1, 2025. The new catalogue will retain all existing functionality, but with a new interface. Users can expect an improved search experience.

As we move closer to May 1, 2025, you may notice decreased functionality of our existing catalogue. Information will be shared as we learn more about the impacts on our catalogue.

NEOS Catalogue

The link to the NEOS Catalogue will be removed from the Library website on December 20, 2024. Saved browser bookmarks to the NEOS Catalogue will still work, but the accuracy of the records within the NEOS catalogue will be unreliable. Use OneSearch to find and access library materials.
