An item I need is "on reserve." How do I borrow something from the Reserve Collection?
Answer
Reserves are high-demand items available to students for short-term loans. Our Reserve Collection is located at the Library Desk on the Main Floor. Several items make up our collection:
Textbook Collection
The Library has purchased select textbooks for students to borrow.
Most textbooks on Reserve can be signed out for two hours at a time. Search the Reserve Catalogue to see if the textbook you need is in our Reserve Collection, or visit the Library Desk to view the Textbook Collection.
Course-Specific Books and Readings
Many instructors place high-demand items on Reserve to ensure all students have access, including required course readings, solution manuals, and more. Loan periods vary and are determined by each instructor. Search the Reserve Catalogue to locate Reserves for your class, or visit the Library Desk to view Course-Specific Reserves.
Laptops
Laptops are available for all students to sign out and use anywhere on campus for up to 4 hours. Check this list to find out what software is installed on the Library laptops. Need a mouse and charging cord? We have those too.
Electronic Equipment
Need to do an assignment or presentation but don't have the tech to do it? We likely have what you need!

Nursing Reserve Items
Nursing students can sign out various nursing textbooks and supplies, including handwashing kits, assessment kits, blood pressure cuffs, and more. Loan periods vary and are determined by the Nursing department.

- Search by course name and/or number, instructor name, book title, author, and more
