How do I access e-resources?

Answer

Electronic resources (e-resources) are licensed for use by Red Deer Polytechnic students, faculty, and staff, and can be accessed on or off campus.

E-resources include:

  • e-books, which are usually accessed via a link
  • electronic articles, which are usually accessed via PDF full-text
  • streaming videos, which are usually accessed via a link

If you're not affiliated with Red Deer Polytechnic, you can access our e-resources in the Library, but not from off-campus.

Access e-resources on Campus

When you’re on campus, access is simple and seamless – just click the link for the e-resource, right from the Library catalogue. The e-resource will open in your browser.
