How do I send emails and messages in Blackboard?

Your instructor may have enabled the Email and Messages tools in Blackboard.
Blackboard Email
Blackboard email connects with your RDP email. Emails you send are found in your RDP email Sent folder.
I sent an email in Blackboard. Where is it?
Blackboard keeps no record of sent email. Rather, your sent (and received) emails will appear in your RDP email.
How do I know if I have email?
Blackboard keeps no record of received email. When you receive an email sent from within Blackboard, it will appear in your RDP email.
Blackboard Messages
Messages are contained within Blackboard. There is an Inbox and a Sent folder within the Messages area. Messages cannot be forwarded to your RDP email (or any other email), so be sure to check your Messages in Blackboard frequently.
