How do I send emails and messages in Blackboard?

Your instructor may have enabled the Email and Messages tools in Blackboard.
Blackboard Email
Blackboard email connects with your RDP email.
Blackboard keeps no record of sent or received email. Emails that you have sent will appear under Sent in your RDP email. Likewise, received emails will appear in the Inbox of your RDP email.

Blackboard Messages
Messages are contained within Blackboard. There is an Inbox and a Sent folder within the Messages area. Messages cannot be forwarded to your RDP email (or any other email), so be sure to check your Messages in Blackboard frequently.
