Use your Red Deer Polytechnic username and password to access TheLoop, the computer network, and online applications such as Blackboard and email.

Username

All students are assigned a unique username when they apply to Red Deer Polytechnic. The Registrar's Office will notify you of your username: check your Letter of Acceptance or Billing Statement. Students who need assistance with their username should contact the Office of the Registrar: 403.342.3400 | admissions@rdpolytech.ca

Employees are assigned a unique username when they are hired. Employees who need assistance with their username should contact their supervisor.

Password

You will also need a password.

Students who are logging into the Loop for the first time will activate their account and create a password. 

Students who have logged into the Loop previously but have forgotten their password can use the Setup New Password link to create a new password. 

Employees who are logging into the Loop for the first time, or who have forgotten their password, can use the Setup New Password link to create or reset a password.
