How do I get EI while attending apprenticeship classes?

Apprentices who have been approved to attend full-time technical training may be eligible to receive Employment Insurance (EI) benefits while attending classes. Information is available here.
You will be required to provide “proof of referral,” also known as a “reference code.” This code is provided by the province. Apprentices in Alberta can find more information here.
