Brightspace is a learning management system (LMS).

Blackboard is the current LMS used at Red Deer Polytechnic. RDP is transitioning to Brightspace, a new LMS, beginning in the Winter 2026 term. Your course may use either Blackboard or Brightspace. If your course is on this list, it is using Brightspace; if it's not on the list, it's using Blackboard.
