Introducing the New RDP Library Catalogue!

Answer

It’s been 2 years in the making, and now LibrarySearch, the new RDP Library Catalogue is live!

Search the new Library Catalogue from the Library homepage and all the Library subject guides.

Search the Library Catalogue

  • The default setting searches everything RDP Library owns or subscribes to, plus items owned by other libraries in Alberta and in Canada. Items owned by RDP Library will appear first in your search results.
  • Easily limit your search to find specific, relevant results. For example, limit to only print books held at RDP Library, or limit to only full-text, peer-reviewed articles.
  • A catalogue record will list ALL formats of an item (e.g. print book, e-book, etc.). See everything at once and choose the format that best suits your needs.

Place Holds and Interlibrary Loan Requests

  • Right from your search results, easily place a hold or request an item through interlibrary loan.
  • When available, requested articles and book chapters will be delivered right to your email!

Use Your Library Account

  • Your iCard is still your library card – use it when you visit the Library in-person to check out library materials.
  • Use your RDP credentials to sign in to the Library Catalogue. No more NEOS barcode and PIN!
  • Your Library Account will still show your checkouts and hold requests, and enable renewals.
  • Sign in to the Library Catalogue to enhance your research by creating personal lists, saving searches, and creating alerts for new resources of interest.
