How do I cite a source with no author?

Answer

If the source you're using doesn't have an author, begin your citation with the source's title.

Here's what each citation style has to say about citing a source without an author:

APA (7th edition)
If there is no author, move the title to the author position, before the date of publication.

MLA
If there is no author, begin the entry with the title.

Chicago
If there is no author, begin the entry with the title, ignoring any introductory articles (e.g. The, A, An).
