Do open textbooks include supplemental resources for instructors and students (e.g. test banks, activities, homework systems)?

Answer

It depends on the specific resource, as OER are not a singular resource. Like publisher textbooks, the availability of supplemental content can vary.

Some OER do include supplemental resources such as slides, test banks, assignments, case studies, class activities, and preparatory or review homework.

Additionally, OER can be adapted and remixed. Resources from multiple OER can be combined to achieve the desired result.
