Are Writing Skills Tutoring appointments confidential?

One-on-one sessions with a Writing Tutor are confidential and information shared or discussed in those sessions will not be shared with instructors or anyone else.
However, since drop-in sessions and writing groups occur in a group setting, confidentiality in those settings can't be guaranteed. Students are encouraged to book an appointment if confidentiality is required.
Additionally, if we have concerns about a student's safety or the safety of others based on information shared in a tutoring session, we reserve the right to use our discretion and share that information with others within RDP as appropriate.
