Anything shared or discussed during one-on-one sessions with a Writing Tutor is strictly confidential and will not be shared with others.

Since drop-in sessions and writing groups occur in a group setting, confidentiality in those settings can't be guaranteed. Students are encouraged to book an appointment if confidentiality is required.

However, if information from a session raises concerns about the student's safety or the safety of others, tutors reserve the right to share that information with appropriate RDP staff.
