How can I meet with a Writing Skills Tutor?


We offer a few ways to help with writing assistance, each one aimed at helping for those with open or hectic schedules: meeting in person for a 45 or 15 minute appointment; drop-in times, listed on the Library Events Calendar; by email submission to the Writing Skills email at 


The in person appointments are great to be able to ask a quick one-on-one question, or to cover a lot more for an essay or bigger assignment and ask a few questions. Drop-in times are good for a quick 5 minute question, as there can be more than one student present during a drop-in and it's easier to work through something brief during that time. Email submissions are best submitted to us well in advance of your assignment due date, as you can expect a reply within roughly 1 - 2 business days. This is also good though for if you wish us to have a thorough look through things after you have given us a few things to look for in particular with your assignment.
